After relocating back to my home state of Nebraska in 2021, I began a small business refinishing furniture. Design and DIY had always been an interest of mine, and after a decade spent in the sales industry in Nashville, TN, I decided it was time to get creative again. As the daughter and sister of two skilled carpenters, I had amazing resources to guide me on my journey of hobby-turned-business.

Cypress House has allowed me to tie together my educational and professional backgrounds, my favorite interests and activities, and my personal values of waste reduction, re-use, and minimalism.
